As a relatively new author, 2025 proved to be a challenging year. The learning curve was steeper than I expected, and at times, it was painful. I made decisions that seemed like good moves, choices I believed would bring exposure and momentum for my books. Unfortunately, some of those decisions turned out to be costly, both in time and money.

The literary world has tested me in ways I didn’t anticipate. Still, every challenge brings clarity. I can say with confidence that 2026 will be different. I won’t repeat the mistakes of the past year, and I’m stepping forward with greater wisdom and discernment.

One of the most difficult moments in 2025 was changing publishing companies midway through the year. It was not an easy decision, but it was the right one. I’m hopeful that the new arrangement now in place will remain steady throughout this year, though, as many authors know, that’s often easier said than done.

There is also good news to celebrate. My new website is steadily building the kind of following every author hopes for, and I’m deeply grateful to Jim Galiano and his team at Gulf Coast Publishing for making that possible. Their support and expertise have played a major role in helping me move forward with confidence.

Another bright moment came in the final quarter of 2025 when I signed with Duneverse Agency. Their incredibly talented graphic designer, Andrei Castrocerna, created all of my new book videos, bringing fresh life and visual storytelling to my work. That collaboration has been a true win.

And, as always, my heartfelt thanks go to Martine, my wife, for her tireless support and encouragement. I probably should listen to her advice more often… LOL.

Here’s to a new year filled with new books, more poems, and renewed purpose.

Thank you all for your continued support, it means more than you know.
