Born where English meadows gleam,
A boy once traced a boundless dream.
An Austrian heart, an English shore,
Two worlds within him, seeking more.
Through halls of leering, minds took aim,
At St. Michael’s, he forge, he carved his name.
With gears and steel his visions soared,
A dreamer’s craft, by hands restored.
From Boeing’s wings to NASA’s skies,
He chased the stars, where silence lies.
Then turned to heal with sound’s embrace,
His company born of science and grace.
When year’s grew kind, his pen took hold,
To shape new worlds from tales retold.
No engines now, no flight to chart,
Just stories rising from the heart.
He once raced wind till fate struck hard,
A crash that left both flesh and scarred.
Yet from the wreck, his spirit flew,
For sky and sea still called him true.
Through sails and clouds, through distant lands,
He wandered free with open hands.
Twice wed, no children’s laughter near,
But love and life remain sincere.
No medals hung, no fame to chase,
Just wonder worn upon his face.
A poet born from steel and flight,
Still sailing dreams through endless night.
