Candle in the Window

Devotion, Memory, and the Glow of Friday

In this third post from Peter A. Moscovita’s poetry collection, we’re invited into deeply personal spaces—letters written across distance, reflections on loyalty, and the lingering warmth of love that shows up in quiet, unexpected moments.

Whether writing to a loved one far away, meditating on the strength of trust, or cherishing the glow of connection on an ordinary Friday, Peter’s words echo with emotion and elegant simplicity.

Bound in Trust, Woven in Devotion

Love is not just whispered words,
Nor fleeting sparks that fade and fall.

It is devotion standing firm,
Through stormy skies and silent walls.

Trust, the steady hand you feel in the night,
A promise held, unshaken, oh so bright.

Together twined, these forces blend—
Devotion and trust, love’s purest end.

Trust is the bridge that spans all doubt,
Lifting hearts through their darkest night.

A sacred bond, no force can borrow,
Anchored deep, bathed in love’s true light.

Eternal Friday

This Friday blooms with thoughts of you,
A vision vibrant, clear and always true.

Your essence lingers, soft and bright,
A gentle flame, my guiding light.

From dawn’s embrace to twilight’s hue,
My heartbeat’s steady, bound to you.

Today, tomorrow and always near,
Through fleeting time, you’ll find me here.

Forever bound by love’s sweet thread,
With whispered dreams and words unsaid.

Through endless days, my heart shall stay,
As Friday’s glow lights love’s pathway.

Keep this in your heart, every day.
