In this fourth installment of Peter A. Moscovita’s poetry series, we return to three timeless themes: the renewal of Easter, the strength of persistence, and the romance of shared moments.
While this may be the final post in the current series, Peter may return with more verses in the future. Until then, we invite you to enjoy these last three selections and revisit the full collection at any time.
Happy Easter, 2025
It’s Easter, a time to pause,
To honor love, to embrace its cause,
A season of hope, renewal bright,
Bathed in mercy, crowned in light.
The lilies bloom, the dawn anew,
Grace and kindness breaking through.
With humbled hearts, with hands that raise,
We give our thanks, we voice our praise.
For love that lifts, for peace that stays,
For gentle hands that guide our days.
For every gift both great and small,
We celebrate, we cherish all.

Inspiration
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education alone will not—the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

Romance and Wine
As evening descends, the air turned divine,
I found myself meeting with romance and wine.
The stars whispered secrets, the moon cast its glow,
While hearts intertwined in a dance soft and slow.
A glass raised in laughter, a toast to the night,
Where love bloomed like flowers in tender moonlight.
The world felt eternal, the moments stood still,
A symphony played just for two.
